Shrine of Fidelity and Piety and Shrine of Bereaved Sons

Just to the west of the Tacheng Gate is the Shrine of Fidelity and Piety and Shrine of Bereaved Sons, which is were people used to pay their respects to devoted widows and sons showing filial piety to their mothers.
Nobody seems to know when this building was erected since it was not part of the original temple complex; the best guess is that it was built in 1888 when the tablets inside were moved to the site from other parts of the city.
